Complete Treatment Process Flow 1️⃣ Inlet Screening & Oil RemovalRaw effluent first passes through bar screens and oil & grease traps to remove floating matter, plastics, and oil residues, protecting downstream equipment.
2️⃣ Equalization TankEffluent is collected in an equalization tank to balance flow, pH, and pollutant load. Air mixing ensures uniform effluent quality and prevents settling.
3️⃣ Chemical Treatment (Primary Treatment)pH correction using acid/alkali dosing
Coagulation & flocculation using chemicals to destabilize and agglomerate suspended solids
Formation of settleable flocs
Flocs settle at the bottom, removing a major portion of TSS, color, and chemical contaminants. Sludge is transferred to sludge handling units.
5️⃣ Biological Treatment (Secondary Treatment)Based on effluent type, one of the following technologies is used:
